Holiday Pennant with Hello From Liz Mathews

This class is an optional paid part of the Jingle Ball.  You will need an entrance ticket to the Jingle Ball as well as a class ticket to attend.  Jingle Ball tickets and class tickets go on sale on October 16th.  Class previews are so you can see what classes will be available for you to purchase on that date.  
All classes will be recorded so that paid students may access them for up to 30 days after the Ball concludes.

They say everything comes back around again, and traditional pennants are back in a big way! You can spot them everywhere and the only thing that could make them cooler is creating yourown with needle and thread! So, let’s have a campy, retro, vintage, handmade Christmas and create our own pennants this holiday season!

Choose one of two pattern options (Santa’s Workshop or North Pole) and learn how to fully finish your pennant two different ways during class. Whether you choose to frame your pennant or make it hand-held, these pieces are eye-catching and so much fun to make, you won’t be able to stop with just one!This class includes a festive series of emails that will begin arriving when you enroll and
continue until after class wraps up. Liz will be in touch often and share the merriment of the season with you along with some history and creative ways to use your pennants!
This beginner-friendly class will utilize hand sewing techniques (no glue!) and is Aida friendly. With simple prestitching complete, we’ll be able to finish the Holiday Pennant together in classduring the Jingle Ball!

KIT TICKETS INCLUDE:
If you purchase a kitted class, it will include- 36 count “Kudzu” linen from Weeks Dye Works, DMC threads, wool felt, cotton backing fabric (print will vary), interfacing, three vintage inspired advertising buttons, finishing tools and supplies, pennant handles, PDF and printed chart pack with two patterns, surprises, and the festive series of emails.

PDF TICKETS INCLUDE:

If you purchase a PDF class you will receive- a complete supply list of items you’ll need to self-source to create your Holiday Pennant, a PDF download of the chart pack and a festive series of emails.

The finishing instructions (complete with photos and details) will be included in the class email sent just prior to class.

Additional items you’ll need for class include iron and mat, needle, scissors, ruler and towel.
